William Henry Clerke IV

Mr. Clerke graduated from North Georgia College and State University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree. North Georgia College and State University is the senior military school in the state of Georgia. In 1991 Mr. Clerke received the degree of Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law located in Atlanta, Georgia. While attending law school Mr. Clerke maintained full time employment. In addition, when Mr. Clerke was in law school he was introduced to trial work through an externship with the Federal Public Defender Program which involved federal criminal trials and appeals.

Since graduating from law school, Mr. Clerke has become a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Atlanta Bar Association, Cobb County Bar Association and the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is licensed to practice in all Georgia State and Federal Courts.



Mr. Clerke has obtained numerous "not guilty" verdicts on behalf of his clients in Superior and State courts throughout the state of Georgia. He has also successfully assisted clients that were wrongfully convicted of murder in obtaining a reversal of the conviction and most importantly their freedom.

Mr. Clerke has obtained numerous plaintiff's verdicts on behalf of his client's in both Federal and State courts in Georgia. He has also successfully argued on behalf of his clients before the Georgia Court of Appeals, Georgia Supreme Court, the United States District Court and the United States Court of Appeals. Mr. Clerke has also appeared as a guest on the Layman's Lawyer.
